Custom orders and final sale
Because made-to-order and custom-modified evening wear is produced or altered specifically for the client, custom orders are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund for change of mind, fit preference, color preference, or event cancellation, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Client approval
Before work begins, clients should confirm the selected design, color, size or submitted measurements, requested modifications, quoted price, estimated production window, and shipping destination. Production begins only after the boutique confirms the order terms.
Measurements and fit
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate measurements. Handmade and custom garments may require local tailoring for a highly personalized fit. Natural variations in drape, embellishment placement, and monitor color are not considered defects.
Changes and cancellations
Change requests are not guaranteed after production begins and may require additional fees or time. Cancellation is not available after materials have been ordered, cutting has begun, or customization work has started, except where required by law.
Damage or incorrect item
If an item arrives damaged or materially different from the confirmed order, contact the boutique promptly with the order number and clear photographs. Josephine's Boutique will review the concern and provide an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law.
Shipping charges and delivery
Shipping is not complimentary. The customer is responsible for the shipping fee, which is calculated according to the delivery destination and its distance from the United States or Canada. The confirmed shipping charge is added to the final order total before payment. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
